Hey, I'm Liz + I'm so glad you finally made it here!

Dawson + Co studio storefront is located in rural Colona, 12731 Wolf Road Geneseo, IL. I fell in love with photography during my 10+ years of volunteer firefighting. After seeing multiple families lose all their physical memories to emergencies + have no way to recreate those memories, I began offering free/discounted sessions to those victims of tragedy. It's been my goal since then to help families of all backgrounds or budgets create + capture beautiful family memories!

The Studio is like a sanctuary for me, + so many others. The peace this space has brought me through the set creation, photo sessions, memory making + soul searching we do within. This is a place I get to raise my babies. A place I get to help create my girl tribe, my village, my people. I am so honored that I get to share this space + this dream with so many people on so many levels.

A little about me, I have been toting around this camera for more than 10 years now... but when I am not behind the camera - I am a part-time Paramedic! Best of both worlds? Or a little crazy, I haven't quite decided yet. At home I am a wife, + mother to two of the sweetest little humans, who motivate me to do this job every single day.
